Be nice when you contact us!

Recently, our Lettings Management Team have had to deal with some very unpleasant communication. We understand that there can be issues with a tenancy that are frustrating, but please be polite when you contact us – we are people too and are trying to do our job. We simply can’t tolerate abuse, so please be respectful and we will do everything we can to help you.

Out of hours emergency – Find a contractor that is qualified to complete the works. You need to ensure that they are quoting you a reasonable price for the works required. You can do this by getting a few verbal quotes. Please ensure that you obtain a receipt for the works completed and we will then contact the landlord directly to discuss payment.

Fire – If there is a fire at the property under no circumstance should you try to put it out yourself.
You must immediately evacuate the property and then contact the emergency services to report the fire.

After that you must contact us by telephone upon the office re-opening.

Gas – If you have a gas leak or you can smell gas you must immediately evacuate the property and then contact National Grid Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.

After that you must contact us by telephone upon the office re-opening.

Water – In the instance you have no water or there is a water leak outside of the property please call Bristol Wessex Water on 03456004600.
